Getting started with AI
5 questions
We don’t use AI yet. Is that a problem?
That’s where many teams start, and there are two ways in. If you want your team using AI first, Getting started with AI sets up a business plan in your company’s name, writes your rules for client data and trains your team on three uses from its real week. If you already know the workflow you want handled, we can start there, and you need no AI experience for it.
See Getting started with AIWhich AI tool will you set up for us?
We set up the one that fits how your team already works. Teams on Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace may already have AI included in their plan, and teams that want a separate assistant often choose a business plan like Claude Team or ChatGPT Business. We compare the options with you, and the account is in your company’s name from the start.
See Getting started with AIIs it safe to put client information into AI?
It depends on the account and on your rules, which is why we set both before anyone is trained. Business plans like these keep your data out of model training by default, while personal accounts leave that to each person’s settings. Your policy says which account to use, what client information can go into it and what never does.
See Getting started with AIHow many people can join the training?
Up to 15 people join one hands on session, and larger teams can add sessions for more people.
See Getting started with AIWhat does it cost?
The fee is $2,500 for up to 15 people, and your company pays the AI provider directly for its seats at the provider’s published price.

What does Sastre do?
Sastre is a forward deployed AI engineering firm: our engineers sit with your team, map one workflow and build it inside the software you already pay for. We use existing models like Claude and GPT, and your team approves anything that reaches a customer or moves money.
See how we workDo we have to change our software?
No, we build on platforms you already use, like HubSpot, QuickBooks, AppFolio or Clio.
See every platformDo we need an engineer on our team?
No, we handle the build and only need time with the people who do the work.
See how we workHow is this different from a workflow build?
Getting started with AI teaches your team to use an AI assistant well on everyday tasks. A workflow build connects AI to the software you already pay for, so a whole process like intake or follow up runs with your team approving each step, and your follow up shows which workflows are worth building.
See how we workWhat happens when a platform changes?
While we run your workflows, we check each one every week and update it when a platform or one of your rules changes.

5 questions
What happens if a draft is wrong?
Your team edits or rejects it from the approval email, and every action stays in the action log.
Read the guideCan owners approve repairs by email?
Yes, a repair above the owner’s limit is drafted into an approval email with the quote and photos attached. The owner’s reply is filed to the work order, and your team sees the decision in the log.
See the Propertyware pageCan we give read only access?
Yes, MyCase lets the firm choose read or write access when it requests credentials. Many workflows start with read access and drafts your staff enter, and write access can be added later if your firm decides it is worth it.
See the MyCase pageAre browser steps safe to run in our account?
Each browser step runs under its own login with only the permissions it needs, and your team approves it before it goes live. Every action it takes is logged, and you can switch it off at any time.
See the Yardi Breeze pageHow is client information protected?
Each workflow gets only the access its steps need, client data stays out of model training under our providers’ business terms, and every action is logged. If we confirm a security incident that affects your data, we notify you within 72 hours, and our diligence pack answers the questions a vendor review asks.

What does it cost?
The working session is free and takes 30 minutes. After it, we quote everything for your workflow: a workflow map that ends in a fixed quote for the build, with the map’s fee credited to the build, and ongoing support priced for the workflows we run.
See how we workWhat does it cost to get started?
The first step is a free 30 minute working session, where we look at one workflow with your team, such as renewals or after hours calls. If it is worth building, a workflow map follows and ends in a fixed quote, and the map’s fee is credited to the build.
See the property management pageWhat does an AppFolio project cost?
It starts with a free 30 minute working session on one AppFolio workflow. If it is worth building, the workflow map that follows ends in a fixed quote, and its fee is credited to the build.
See the AppFolio pageWhat does a QuickBooks project cost?
It starts with a free 30 minute working session on one QuickBooks workflow, such as bill entry or overdue invoices. After that, a workflow map ends in a fixed quote for the QuickBooks build, and its fee is credited to that build.
See the QuickBooks pageWill we pay Rent Manager anything extra for the connection?
That depends on your agreement with Rent Manager and its current integration program. We confirm any fee with you and with Rent Manager before the fixed quote, so it is part of the decision from the start.

6 questions
What if our platform has no API?
We use scheduled reports and exports next, then browser automation your team approves, and we tell you which one we’ll use before we build.
Read the guideDoes AppFolio have an API?
AppFolio lists API access on its Plus plan, which is read only, and on its Max plan, which adds write access, while Core lists none. We confirm your plan during the workflow map and design around what it allows.
See the AppFolio pageDoes this work with QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop?
QuickBooks Online has an official API that your company connects by signing in and approving the app, and that is where we start. For QuickBooks Desktop, we confirm the available options during the workflow map.
See the QuickBooks pageCan a developer build a Clio app just for our firm?
Yes, Clio allows private apps built for a single firm by an outside developer, and Clio Manage private apps go live without a Clio review. We build yours on that basis, and each user authorizes it through Clio.
See the Clio pageDo we need Buildium Premium?
Premium is the plan that includes Buildium’s Open API, so it gives the most direct connection. On other plans we work from scheduled reports and exports and queue drafts for your staff, and the workflow map compares both routes for your account.

6 questions
Can AI log tenant and owner calls into our property management software?
Yes, each call is summarized onto the matching tenant, unit or work order with the next step and a due date. On plans with write access the summary posts once a manager approves it, and on other plans it waits in a queue for your staff to enter.
See the property management pageDoes AI decide who gets a unit or what rent to charge?
No, screening, leasing approvals, rent pricing and ad targeting stay with your team. Our workflows handle the messages and records around those decisions and keep AI out of the decisions themselves.
See the property management pageWill AI give legal advice to our clients?
No, AI drafts and organizes, and an attorney writes or approves anything with legal substance before a client sees it. Routine messages such as appointment confirmations run on their own only after your firm decides they should.
See the personal injury law pageCan AI tell a client whether they qualify?
No, AI gathers facts against your intake questions and organizes them for review. Only an attorney assesses eligibility or advises a client on what to file.
See the immigration law pageCan drafts go out in our clients’ languages?
Yes, we set up the languages your clients use, and each draft shows the translation next to the original. A person fluent in that language approves every message before it is sent.
