This policy explains what information Sastre collects through withsastre.com, how we use it, who receives it and the choices you have. Sastre’s postal address is Avenida La Capilla 520, San Salvador, San Salvador, El Salvador, 1101. You can reach us at hello@withsastre.com, and at privacy@withsastre.com for anything about this policy.
Where Sastre is based
Sastre is based in El Salvador and works with companies in the United States. The services we use to run the site, take bookings and handle email keep information on their own servers, which may be in the United States or other countries.
What we collect
When you book a working session
The Book page asks for your name, work email, phone number (optional) and the work that takes up your team’s week, then asks a few questions in a short chat before you pick a time.
When you click Continue on the first form, we save what you entered in our own operations system, and we add each later answer as you give it: the software your team uses, which you can pick from a list of platforms, your answers in the chat and how you heard about Sastre. When you book, we also collect your company name, the time you chose and your time zone, which your browser provides so the page can show times in your local time. The booking also records the page you booked from and any campaign tags in the link that brought you to the site, such as UTM parameters.
If you leave before booking, we keep what you entered for 30 days so you can pick up where you left off, send you one email with a link to finish booking, and then delete it. Only a completed booking is added to our list of clients and prospects.
Emails about your booking
After you book, we send you one welcome email that explains what to expect from the session, in addition to the calendar invite. If you leave the Book page before booking, we send you one email with what you shared and a link to finish. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops these emails. When you unsubscribe, we keep your email address on a list of addresses we don’t email, so your choice holds if you start a booking again.
When you email us
When you write to us, we receive your email address, your message and anything you attach, and we keep that correspondence in our email system.
When you browse the site
Like every website host, Framer receives the information your browser sends when it loads a page, such as your IP address, browser type, device and the page you asked for. We use Framer Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. Framer states that its analytics use no cookies and create no persistent identifiers, and that it counts unique visitors by hashing the IP address and browser details with a key that changes every day, so the figures we see do not identify anyone.
The site’s fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser also sends your IP address and browser details to Google when it requests them. The country flags next to the phone field load from flagcdn.com, which receives the same browser details when it serves them.
Cookies and browser storage
The site does not use cookies for analytics or advertising. It saves two small settings in your browser: whether the hover sounds are on or off, and whether the opening animation has already played during your visit. Both stay on your device, and we cannot see them.
How we use it
We use what you give us on the Book page to prepare for your working session, to send and manage the calendar invite and to follow up on the session. We use your emails to reply to you and to continue conversations you start. We use visit counts, the source tags on links and the answers people give about how they found us to understand which pages and channels bring people to Sastre. We also use the information to keep the site working and secure.
Who receives it
We share information only with the services that run the site, our bookings and our email, and each one uses it to provide its service to us.
- Cal.com receives everything you enter on the Book page, creates the booking and sends the confirmation email and any messages about changes to the booking. Cal.com processes this information on our instructions. If you use the link to Cal.com’s own booking page, Cal.com’s privacy policy at https://cal.com/privacy applies on that page.
- Google provides our email, calendar and video meetings through Google Workspace. Your booking arrives in our calendar and inbox, the session takes place on Google Meet and our correspondence with you is stored there. Google also serves the site’s fonts. Google’s privacy policy is at https://policies.google.com/privacy
- Framer hosts the site and provides its analytics. Framer’s privacy statement is at https://www.framer.com/legal/privacy-statement/
- Anthropic provides the AI model behind the Book page chat. It receives your chat answers to write the next question and does not use them to train its models under our commercial terms. Anthropic’s privacy policy is at https://www.anthropic.com/legal/privacy
- Vercel runs the service behind the Book page chat and our operations system. Vercel’s privacy policy is at https://vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy
- Supabase stores the records our operations system keeps, including unfinished bookings for 30 days. Supabase’s privacy policy is at https://supabase.com/privacy
- Resend sends our emails about your booking. Resend’s privacy policy is at https://resend.com/legal/privacy-policy
- Attio stores our list of clients and prospects once you book. Attio’s privacy policy is at https://attio.com/legal/privacy
We may also disclose information when the law requires it or when it is needed to protect Sastre, our clients or the public. Sastre will operate through a Salvadoran company once it is formed, and the information described here will move to that company, which this policy will then name.
How long we keep it
We keep unfinished bookings for 30 days and then delete them. We keep booking details and correspondence for as long as we need them to work with you and to keep the business and tax records the law requires. You can ask us to delete them at any time, as described below.
Reviewing, changing or deleting your information
You can email privacy@withsastre.com to see the information we hold about you, to correct it, to ask us to delete it or to ask how we use it. We confirm requests by replying to the email address we have for you, and we answer within 30 days. When the law requires us to keep a record, such as an invoice, we tell you what we kept and why.
Do Not Track
Some browsers can send a Do Not Track signal. We do not track visitors over time or across other websites, and we have not added advertising or tracking tools that follow visitors across websites, so the site works the same way whether or not your browser sends the signal. The services named above receive information only to provide their service to us.
Client data in our delivery work
When a company hires Sastre, we work inside the software its team already uses, and that work is governed by the client’s written agreement. In that work, client data stays out of model training, each workflow gets only the access it needs and we delete client data 30 days after an engagement ends.
Children
The site is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we post the new version on this page with a new effective date. If a change affects how we use information you have already given us, we also email you at the address you gave us before the change applies.
