Some of what we set up for law firms
Intake and consults
Web and phone inquiries are checked against your intake questions and summarized, and a consult is offered once an attorney clears conflicts.
Agency notices
Receipt notices and other agency mail are read, and their dates are drafted onto the right matter for your team to confirm.
Clean time and billing
Time entries are cleaned up from the work your team actually did, and invoices are drafted for an attorney to review.
Client updates
Case status updates are drafted in the client’s language for an attorney to approve.
Document checklists
Each client gets a document checklist for their case type, and uploads are checked against it and filed.
Answers for your staff
Your staff’s procedure questions are answered from your own playbooks.
Immigration practices run on long timelines, thick document sets and clients who want to know where their case stands. One matter can involve years of agency notices, a document list that changes with the case type and status questions from relatives in more than one language. Sastre builds AI workflows inside the platforms your firm already uses, such as Clio, MyCase or a case management tool built around immigration forms, so intake, documents and updates move on time and only an attorney assesses eligibility or gives advice.
We would look first at these handoffs:
A caller who asks in Spanish about renewing a work permit gets an English intake summary for the attorney and a reply drafted in Spanish, which a bilingual staff member or attorney approves before it goes out.
Each client receives the document checklist for their case type, and every upload is checked against that list, named and filed to the matter, with a reminder for anything still missing.
Receipt notices, approval notices and other agency mail are read when they arrive, and the dates inside them are drafted onto the right matter for your team to confirm.
Status updates are drafted in the client’s preferred language from the latest matter notes, and an attorney approves each one.
Your staff get answers to procedure questions from the firm’s own playbooks, with a link to the page each answer came from.
Language matters most where the stakes are highest. Every translated draft shows the original next to it so the reviewer can check both, and nothing about eligibility, filing deadlines or case strategy reaches a client without an attorney’s approval.
Status questions are where an immigration front desk loses whole afternoons. When a client or a family member asks what is happening with a case, the reply is drafted from the matter’s latest notes and notices, so staff only need to check and approve it, and the exchange is logged on the matter.
We connect through each platform’s official API where the firm’s plan includes one, use scheduled exports where it does not, and keep browser steps for actions that have no other route, once your firm approves them.
Immigration files hold passports, family histories and employment records, so each workflow is limited to the records it needs, client data stays out of model training and every action is logged. ABA Formal Opinion 512 asks lawyers to understand how a tool treats confidential information before using it, and we put those terms in writing for your firm’s review.
For a B2B company, we built call debriefs that turn call notes into a structured review, with the buyer’s pain, budget and decision process backed by their own words. An immigration intake call can be captured the same way, with the facts an attorney needs and the caller’s words beside them.
Some of the software we connect for law firms
All platformsQuestions law firms ask us
Can AI tell a client whether they qualify?
No, AI gathers facts against your intake questions and organizes them for review. Only an attorney assesses eligibility or advises a client on what to file.
Can drafts go out in our clients’ languages?
Yes, we set up the languages your clients use, and each draft shows the translation next to the original. A person fluent in that language approves every message before it is sent.
Do we need client consent before AI handles case documents?
Consent depends on which tool is used, what your engagement terms say and how your state applies its rules. ABA Formal Opinion 512 asks for informed consent before confidential information goes into a tool that can learn from it, so we document each tool and data flow and your firm decides what consent it needs.
How are passports and other client documents protected?
Each workflow reaches only the folders and records it needs, and your firm can revoke that access at any time. Documents stay out of model training under our providers’ business terms, and we delete the client data we hold 30 days after an engagement ends.
What does it cost to begin?
We begin with a free working session of about an hour, focused on one workflow such as document collection or status questions. The workflow map that follows ends in a fixed quote for the build, and its fee is credited to that build.
What happens if a draft is wrong?
Your team edits or rejects it from the approval email, and every action stays in the action log.
Will this replace anyone on our team?
The workflows take over the copying, chasing and retyping, and your team keeps every decision and every customer relationship.
